Our team plays such an important role in your experience at Animal Medical Center of Lubbock. They know that every client is unique and we want you to feel that your needs are important to us. We’ve got a great staff who does that. They’ll treat your pets like their own (and we have a ton of our own pets that we love dearly).

Tresa

Receptionist

Tresa has been working for AMC since 2005. She enjoys visiting with clients about their families and loving on their fur babies. In her spare time, she loves to camp and travel with her 5 children and grandson.
Allison

Receptionist

Allison started at AMC in 2018. Meeting new people and assisting our clients is a highlight of her job. She also has had the opportunity to help our technicians with our patients. She love to work out and travel. She is married to a United States Marine. Together they have a schnauzer named Elliot and a cat named Marlin.
Cydney

Receptionist

Cydney started at Animal Medical Center in 2021. As a receptionist, she gets to be the first to love on all the animals that come in. She loves them all, tiny kittens to bearded dragons! In her spare time, she loves reading, going to her son’s basketball games and hanging out with family and friends.
Kaitlyn

Kennel Manager

Kaitlyn was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas and truly enjoys spending time with her family. She’s got two great dogs: Steve Rey and Silas Paul. And she can’t forget her turtle, Tara Jo. When she’s not hanging out with them, she loves crafting and enjoying time at the beach.
Melinda S.

Lead Surgical Technician

Melinda is from Budapest, Hungary but was raised in Glendale, AZ. She moved to Lubbock with her family (Husband – Joshua, daughter – Savannah Grace, son – Hunter Allen, 2 dogs – Butter & Jackson, 2 cats – Milo & Thomas, green cheek conure – Sheldon, and 2 hognose snakes – Hamlet & Penelope.) She has degrees in criminal justice and animal science along with the veterinary tech program from Penn Foster. She loves hunting, fishing, camping, snorkeling, gardening, traveling, but overall she just loves being a mom.
Samantha (Sam)

Technician

Sam is from Pampa, Texas. She moved to Lubbock with her family when she was 13 years old. She has 3 dogs and 1 cat. She loves sketching and painting, anything she can do to create art. She also enjoys music, movies and Taco Bell.
Lori

Technician

Lori is originally from California. She moved to Lubbock for her husband’s job. She graduated as a Registered Veterinary Technician from San Joaquin Valley College in California. They have 2 wonderful children (1 boy and 1 girl) as well as 3 dogs and 2 cats. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, antiques, photography and rescuing dogs. She also runs 4 Legged Friends of Lubbock with a friend.
Erma

Technician

Erma was born and raised in Levelland. She has 2 children and 1 dog and 1 cat. In her spare time, she likes going to the movies, dancing, camping and spending time with her granddaughter.
Jennifer

Technician

Jennifer was born in Luverne, MN, and raised in Canyon, TX. She has three wonderful children and enjoys camping, going to the lake, snow skiing, and spending time with family and friends. She has a deep love for antiques and could spend all her time in antique stores. Her four dogs—Kesha, Bear, Bo, and Bali—are very spoiled and love to greet her with enthusiasm when she gets home.
Shelby

Technician

Shelby has been a part of Animal Medical Center since May 2018. A graduate of Texas Tech University, she has a passion for working in surgery and studying animal behavior. In her spare time, she enjoys painting and dancing the Texas Swing.
Jon

Technician

Jon joined AMC in February 2019 and enjoys building relationships with clients and their pets. When he isn’t caring for hospitalized patients, he spends his time taking care of his rat terriers, aquariums, and finches.
Vanessa

Technician

Vanessa has been with AMC since December 2019. She loves meeting clients and working with their beloved pets. Raised in Bovina, TX, she enjoys hiking, drawing, horseback riding, and furthering her education in the animal field. She also cherishes time with her dog, Cortana.
Chris

Technician

Chris enjoys working in the kennels and keeping pets company while their owners are away. He also assists doctors in exam rooms and with patient care. Since joining AMC in 2019, he has cared for his three dogs and five cats. In his free time, he collects comic books and enjoys spending time with his family.
Brianna B.

Technician

Brianna is grateful to be working at AMC, where she can do what she loves. Since starting in 2020, she has enjoyed patient care and assisting in surgery. She spends her free time with her family and her beloved bottle-fed cat, Teddy.
Nathan

Technician

Nathan has been part of AMC since 2021. He is dedicated to providing high-quality care for patients. Outside of work, he enjoys playing the violin, spending time with his dog, and playing volleyball.
Michala

Technician

Michala is passionate about gaining the trust of animals in her care. She understands that each patient is unique and strives to make them feel comfortable at the clinic. Since starting in 2021, she has spent her free time with her daughter and family.
Makenna

Technician

Makenna’s favorite part of her job is educating clients and caring for patients. She joined AMC in 2022 and enjoys knitting and spending time with her pets and family.
Jeana

Technician

Jeana is especially interested in dentistry and surgery. Since joining AMC in 2020, she has been committed to providing quality care for patients. She finds great satisfaction in seeing hospitalized pets recover and return home to their families. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, home improvement projects, and spending time with her daughters.
Amy

Technician

Amy has worked in veterinary medicine for six years. Originally from Plainview, she joined AMC in 2022 and loves interacting with clients and caring for pets. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her family and dogs.
Adriana

Technician

Adriana takes great joy in treating hospitalized patients and reuniting them with their owners. She started at AMC in 2022 and enjoys dancing and spending time with her family and dogs.
Alyssa

Technician

Alyssa began as a receptionist in 2017 before becoming a technician in 2019. She is experienced in all areas of the clinic, from surgery and patient care to kennels and reception. She especially enjoys hospital patient care, bloodwork, and X-rays, and assisting the doctors in any way she can. When not at work, she cares for her son, who has medical needs, and enjoys gardening, cooking, baking, and making piñatas.
Taylor

Receptionist

Taylor was born and raised in Lubbock. She worked as a veterinary receptionist in Houston before returning home. She enjoys providing clients with support and reassurance about their pets’ well-being and loves spending time with puppies and kittens. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and caring for her cat, Cleo.
Kathy

Technician

Kathy has worked in veterinary medicine for over five years. She considers AMC one of the best places she has ever worked, appreciating the dedication of the veterinarians and the teamwork among staff. She values the compassionate environment and high-quality care provided to every pet. In her free time, she enjoys taking long walks with her dog, Domino, who loves listening to her play the piano when they have a day off.
JC

Technician

JC has over 13 years of experience in the Veterinary field. He enjoys working with animals and joined Animal Medical Center in November 2022. He especially takes pride in ensuring that patients feel as comfortable as possible when they have to bear the stress of a doctor’s visit. Outside of work, JC’s a passionate aquarium enthusiast and keeps live shrimp planted tanks!
